Because of this, travertine can often be found in a variety of shades, from the lightest ivory and darker walnut shades, to even dark browns and deep reds. travertine's density is a bit lower when you compare it w/ marble and onyx which makes it more sensitive to weather conditions and sun shine etc. but it does not mean it is delicate, it means the material you use especially in outdoor will get older in in every single change will make it more unique and you will be able to see the mark of the years.
